Our Purpose
Recognizing that emergencies and other events may overwhelm the resources and capabilities of transit agencies, and that transit agencies may require assistance in the form of personnel, services and equipment to continue to deliver critical services, the TransMAC Members have established an intrastate program of Mutual Assistance.
Our Principles
Cooperative Planning
We are TransMAC members as part of a commitment of cooperation, within the bounds of our individual situations.
Knowledge Sharing
We share appropriate knowledge to lay the groundwork for cooperation, when times are calm, before the crisis.
Maintaining Readiness
We train together when we can so that we can learn and grow from each member's unique knowledge and perspectives.
